With nearly 600 years of wine production on the land, Chateau Haut-Brion is the oldest, continuously working winery in Bordeaux. It has long been recognised as the finest wine producing Chateau in the appellation, with confirmation of First Growth status in the 1855 Classification. This feat is even more impressive given it is the only First Growth residing outside the Medoc.

 

Haut-Brion has an almost unequaled track record for quality and the ability for the wine to age and evolve over time. Much of recent success and reputation that it enjoys today can be attributed to the care, attention and determination of the Delmas family. Now under the management of the third generation of Delmas, Jean Phillipe is looking to continue and improve the quality that his grandfather helped curate.
