Founded in 1853 by Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild who bought and renamed Chateau Brane-Mouton in Pauillac, Mouton Rothschild is one of the five Classified First Growths of Bordeaux, a status it acquired, after years of lobbying, in 1973.

 

Located in the Pauillac appellation in the heart of the Médoc, Château Mouton Rothschild consistently produces wines of unimpeachable quality and finesse which command high prices and are sought-after around the world, meaning that they should be seriously considered for any fine wine investor’s portfolio.
