Chateau Pontet Canet

Chateau Pontet-Canet, Pontet-Canet, Fine Wine Investment, Fine Wine, Wine Investment, Grand Cru Classe, Bordeaux Wine

Founded in the early 18th century, Pontet Canet is steeped in a rich history and has maintained the production of some of the highest quality Bordeaux wine over the years. Pontet Canet was granted a respectable Fifth Growth status in the 1855 classification, but don't let this dissuade you as it regularly competes with the First and Second Growths too. The 2009 and 2010 vintages both scored 100 point ratings from Neal Martin, a feat not achieved by many.

Under the watchful eye of Alfred Tesseron and his family, the wine has continued to improve year on year. Their approach to production has been revolutionary in the region, pushing the envelope for more organic processes. We expect that this level of attention and care for the vines will continue to improve the quality of their wines and should see some more 100 point wines in the near future.
