Earning a tremendous 91-93 points from Neal Martin for a wine that is £9 a bottle, this is a brilliant little Listrac, with hedgerow berries, cedar wood and blood orange on the nose. On the palate there is very good tension between acidity and tannins and very good length. The Château encompasses some of the most gravel-heavy soils in the region, as well as good deposits of clay & limestone which were crucial in this hotter vintage. Neal Martin put it best in his review of the wine when he said, “this is classic Listrac that should age with style”.
