Quite frankly, this is one of the gems of the entire 2020 vintage. A potential 94-point rating from Neal Martin for a wine costing just £12 in bond is as rare as hen’s teeth. Martin’s review makes for illuminating reading: “The 2020 Les Trois Croix has a very perfumed and beautifully defined bouquet of blackberry, blueberry and crushed stone aromas, focused and sophisticated. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, a beautiful line of acidity and a precise, quite minerally finish that is pure class. A fabulous Fronsac.” Get what you can - this is brilliant Fronsac.
