IDDA Etna Rosso 2020 (6x75)

Remarkably Burgundian in both weight and style, IDDA Etna Rosso is made from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes grown on the South West slopes of the volcano at an altitude of between 600m and 800m above sea level. Fermented in a combination of oak and concrete vats and then followed by 24 months of ageing in oak and concrete. Rich, beautiful, opulent, charming, fresh, harmonious with a lovely long lingering finish - the superlatives flow.... 


A perfumed nose of red berries, spiced cherries, hazelnuts and smoke. Medium-bodied with finely grained tannins and bright acidity. Poised and round with a silky texture on the mid-palate and volume to the focused, long finish. It really grows on the palate. Better after 2024.” 96 points, James Suckling
